Chomp

It's my turn over on the Whimsie Doodles blog.  Today I want to share a cute little image that could work for so many kinds of cards.  He's quick and easy to color up.  Here's my card featuring Chomp  -

You can find this fun little guy with the Valentine digis here.  He was colored up with Copic markers and the little scene was created with dies.

Thanks so much for dropping by!

Valentine Games

I have fun project to share with you today. I used the very cute Whimsie Doodles Valentine Games images to color up a bingo type game card perfect for any Valentine's Day party. You can find them on the Holiday/Events page under Valentine.

Here's a bit closer picture.  I colored them up with Copic markers.  I used a Dove chocolate on the free space for a special little treat.

The cards come in a set of 4.  Be sure to check them and all the other darling Valentine images out here.

Sea Shell Leah

I know many places are suffering with double digit below zero temperatures, so I thought I would share some warm thoughts with you today.  My card is featuring Seashell Leah and what a cutie she is!

She can be found in the Whimsie Doodles store under the People Digi's.  Here's a little closer look-

Leah was colored with Copic markers and the background was made by dripping drops of alcohol inks in water and dipping white cardstock into it.  It is similar to the shaving cream technique of adding color to paper.  Fun to do and it gives kind of a watery feel, don't you think?

Wishing you all a wonderful new year full of all you love!

Brenda

Gnomies

Hello friends!  kel here with this adorable trio... foursome?? Does the snow-mie count?? haha!  I have been ITCHING to use this digi.  SUUUUUUPER digging gnomes recently.

These fun buddies are Gnomies towards the bottom half of the Christmas digis page. So cute.

I colored them up with my Copics and then matched them to this scrap paper I had in a super old DCWV Glitter stack.  Perfect match!!

Hope everyone's staying warm wherever you are, and happy winter!  I graduated yesterday with my BA in History, so I'm super stoked to celebrate this winter with no more homework!!  haha!  Well, at least until I start grad school in the fall!!  See you again soon!!

December Challenge Time

Hi Whimsie Doodle friends! It's December 15th and time for another Whimsie Doodles  challenge and we would love for you to play along!

Before we get into that, I want to thank everyone who played along in our Anything Goes challenge with an optional twist of Santa's Helpers. We loved seeing all your wonderful entries!

Without further ado, the random winner of last months challenge is...

#1 myaspirations

She used the darling freebie image Elves Watching Girl found in the Christmas section here.

Congratulations!

You have won 5 standard images of your choice for playing along with our ATG challenge and using the twist, Santa's Helpers. Please email Melyssa at melyssa@eastlink.ca with the images of your choice and put "November Challenge Winner" in the subject line to claim your prize.

As for December's challenge, our theme is Anything Goes with an optional twist of "All Wrapped Up". The Diva's will be showcasing cards following the "All Wrapped Up" twist. It would be great if you did to, but it's not essential.

Here's what the Doodliscious Diva came up with -

Brenda using Stocking Goodies

Joy using Ugg Leah

Kel using Latte Lizzy

Now it's your turn and we can't wait to see what you create.  There will be one winner drawn at random from all eligible entries. If the winning entry has followed the 'Anything Goes' theme the prize will be THREE standard Whimsie Doodles images of their choice. However, if the winning entry has followed the twist the prize is FIVE standard Whimsie Doodles images!

Please make sure you take a look at the Monthly Challenge Details for all the specifics before you link up!

You have until January 13th, 2017 to join in for your chance to win!!

Thanks for stopping by - we hope you'll join us!  Happy Holidays!
